How does the Financial Reasoning Test work?
There are 22 questions to cover in 35 minutes, testing your ability to review financial information. Practice questions are provided and you can do these as many times as you want to. When doing the actual test, you can go back and review answers, as long as you still have time remaining within your 35 minutes.
When will I find out results, how will I be told?
Details of when results are communicated for each stage are on this website. Results at each stage will be emailed to you so please ensure you have the correct email address on your application. Check your emails regularly as you may be required to book yourself into slots if successful for the next stage. Do I get feedback? Is this emailed?
The type of feedback provided is dependent on the stage you reach. If you reach the 2nd stage of our assessment process you will be provided with verbal feedback; before this, written feedback will be emailed to you. This will be provided to you within two weeks of the decision.
Do you reimburse travel expenses for assessment centres?
Travel expenses will be reimbursed within reason. If you travel is over £50, please telephone the graduate team for approval. Unauthorised travel will not be reimbursed. Please bring receipts to your assessment centre in order to claim this back.
Do you offer reasonable adjustments as part of the assessment e.g. to accommodate candidates with disabilities or if I require access to your prayer room?
We take all personal requirements on a case by case basis and will make any necessary adjustments to accommodate your needs, if you have any requirements, please inform us as soon as possible.
Are there practice questions for assessment centres? How can I prepare?
Please read through the website and information emailed to you for more information of the competencies that will be assessed at each stage of the process. However, most of the assessment centres exercises are designed so you do not need to prepare beforehand.
